New appointments and recognition
Justice Geoffrey Kiryabwire has received the following appointments and recognition
1. Appointment the Summit of the East African Community as Justice of the East African Court of Justice Appellate Division (Part time).
He was appointed as a Justice of the Appellate Division by the summit of the East African Community effective 16th August, 2015
2. Appointment to Insol International College of Mediators (IICM)
This is an appointment by INSOL International based in London and specialises in the mediation of Insolvency disputes worldwide. The appointment was effective 1st July 2015.
3. Appointment by Order of HRM Queen Elizabeth of England and Wales as Commander Brother of the Most Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem.
This appointment was made in recognition of my work as a Council member of St John’s Ambulance Uganda a charity involved in providing first aid and ambulance services in Uganda. The appointment was announced in the London Gazette Honours list and made on the 10th day of July 2015.
