My Lord very interesting to see your Website but SPECIAL CONSIDERATION should have been made in my prayer about the Damages made to property plus house hold items lost during the eviction & costs of un invited security where the Lender had the document of Title in his custody are too harsh given the back ground of the matter.

The said security has vandalized the once multi million property to a shell of which Mr. Manzi is aware & the time judgment came we had almost reached a settlement out of Court to a tune of 85 million shillings. With the current judgment, He is asking for 130M

I have No objection to other facts in the ruling but the issues raised above. I have a young Family, which has suffered post traumatic stress disorder & the ruling puts us to the streets of Kampala

I am impressed. If e can have ten of your kind on the Bench, perhaps Uganda's Judiciary may change it face.

It is also a source of inspiration for young upcoming lawyers, this way they are able to reflect on where they are coming from, where they are heading and where they want to end. You have set a good precdent, your lordship.

May it please your lordship. How could one get to meet you in person for career guidance. To me you are model and I believe I can learn more if I talked to you in person.

May God bless you and your family. By the way your wife taught me Criminal Liability at MUK in 2003

My Lord. This is Very Impressive indeed. May I make one suggestion? Perhaps you could add a search function on the page so that the judgements can be search according to subject? Otherwise I must admit it is very informative. Thank you

My Lord,

This is impressive! I dream of the day when all decisions from our courts will be available online.

I also dream of the day when the intellectuals in this country will learn the power and importance of online publications---especially free access to articles and lectures

Your Lordship, I once appeared in your court (as a research assistant to my senior partner) and you seem to hold the view that consent judgments can not be reviewed, they can only be set aside, I am I right?

As I ran through this 'barn of knowlegde', I could not believe my eyes that we have a judge who takes it upon himself to inform the world out there of his decisions. This is not only resourceful, but a brilliant innovation. I am a law student and I know what it takes to scratch for material on cases. I WISH ALL OTHER JUDGES WOULD TAKE A LEAF!!! Kudos, My Lord!!!!

@Arthur Nsereko ...Well, other judges have followed suit, collectively, under the ULII umbrella which is now officially stamped with the Uganda Judiciary.

The site has been upgraded excellently, and searches are fast and precise .

I have been using ULII to obtain judgements of other judges and justices and it is great!!

Infact, I have been impressed by the great difference envisaged from judgments of the 1970s, 80s to judgments of 2000 onwards..the judiciary has grown both intellectually and write very neat judgments that help students , compared to the judgments of yester years that were a bit too elitists and not systematically structured.

With that praise kudos to the Judiciary for E-Justice and Elaw

My Lord;

I am very impressed with ths site. It is a everything for anyone involved in legal engagements be it school, profession and selfawareness.

I came across your site when i wanted to read something about partnerships and by luck/chance open the NOEL NUWE KYAPAKA Vs PHILIP RONALD BAGUMA & PETER MUKIIZA.

It did not only give me a practical case but educated me a lot on partnerships and realised that I have give up on a lot of them and lost huge sums of money.

This begining should NEVER end but spread out to all other JUDGES.

Be blessed

Am pleased to have found out that a high ranking person of your kind can have a website and accept comments. The above are no my real names for the reason. After my senior six, I wanted to study law, but my points could not allow me and yet my parents could not manage to pay for the desired course. I managed to do a diploma in law though with difficulty at LDC like hw it is today.BRIEFLY, the knowledge I got, has helped me and that I learnt how to register companies. I managed to raise some money and did a Bachelors degree in Procurement and logistics managent, though no job now four years after graduetion. In the course of my studies I started handling cases at magisrates courts and in the high court and I have worn all of them. Remember I have not done the law degree and not the diploma in legal practice. I feel this wil lead me in great trouble. I want to get a sponser and do the real degree because I feel I have the capacity to pass it and excel high. Protect my identity and or you can help me discuss with you at agiven time and help over there. My the Good Lord continue to help you help others.

Animation is fairly straightforward in comparison.'To shoot the guide plate, Chaffey, Harryhausen and stunt coordinator Fernando Poggi choreographed stuntmen dressed in white track suits with numbers one through seven, then filmed the action again, minus the stuntmen. Christian Louboutin outlet

Its such as you learn my mind! You appear to grasp a lot approximately this, like you wrote the guide in it or something. I think that you just could do with some percent to pressure the message home a bit, however other than that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.

Dear Judge Geoffrey,
I am a student of tax law and I have been following your cases closely. I am looking for a clue as to whether the URA has powers to compel a bank to give information about their client otherwise than through a court order.
My question is premised on the fact that under section 132 it appears that they can but then what is confusing to me is whether the definition of person in section 2 is streched for purposes of section 132.
